American Sign Language (ASL) / Deaf Ministry
At HRBC, we are proud to offer a dedicated ministry for the DEAF and Hard of Hearing in Florence and the surrounding areas. We offer live ASL interpretation of our worship music and preaching at all of our services. Additionally, we also have a small group that meets at 10 AM in the building behind the main sanctuary, providing a welcoming space for fellowship and spiritual growth.
We start our time with a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate, setting a cozy and inviting atmosphere for both members and guests. Our ministry is supported by three experienced interpreters who facilitate small group discussions, as well as interpreting our worship and prayer services on Wednesday nights.
Additionally, we occasionally host a Sunday afternoon class at 4:30 PM, perfect for individuals interested in learning American Sign Language (ASL), from beginners to more advanced learners.
Whether you are DEAF and Hard of Hearing, we warmly welcome you to join our inclusive community. Come and experience a place where you can connect, learn, and grow together with us.
