Day 4: The Evidence That Silences Doubt
Bible Verse
'But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.' - 1 Corinthians 15:20

Skeptics had every opportunity to disprove Christianity by simply producing Jesus' body. Roman authorities, Jewish leaders, and countless opponents had strong motivation to end this movement. Yet none could do it because the tomb was empty. Over 500 people witnessed the risen Christ, not in fleeting glimpses but in extended encounters over 40 days. They ate with Him, touched His wounds, and heard His teaching. This wasn't mass hysteria or wishful thinking - it was documented reality. When doubts arise, remember that our faith stands on the strongest possible foundation: eyewitness testimony, historical documentation, and the inability of powerful enemies to produce contradicting evidence. The resurrection isn't a fairy tale - it's the most verified event in ancient history.
Reflection Question:
How can you use the overwhelming evidence of the resurrection to strengthen your faith and encourage others who are struggling with doubt?
How can you use the overwhelming evidence of the resurrection to strengthen your faith and encourage others who are struggling with doubt?
Quote:
The quickest way. They could have absolutely shut down the Jewish religious leaders, Rome, any of them could have absolutely shut down this movement which became Christianity. They could have shut it down. All they had to do was go get the body and pull it out for people to see. But guess what? They couldn't do it. You know why? Because his body wasn't there. - Pastor Greg

Prayer:
Thank You, Lord, for providing such strong evidence for Your resurrection. Help me share this hope with confidence and compassion.
