Day 1: Your Ordinary is God's Extraordinary
Bible Verse
'Now Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.'
- Exodus 3:1

- Exodus 3:1
Moses spent forty years as a shepherd in the wilderness, leading sheep through rocky terrain and finding water in dry places. It seemed ordinary, even mundane. Yet God was using every single day to prepare Moses for something extraordinary - leading an entire nation through that same wilderness. What appears routine in your life right now may be God's training ground for your future calling. That difficult job, challenging relationship, or season of waiting isn't wasted time. God is developing character, building faith, and teaching you skills you'll need for what's ahead. The shepherd's staff in Moses' hand would become the rod of God's power. Your current circumstances, no matter how ordinary they seem, are in God's hands too.
Reflection Question:
What ordinary circumstances in your life might God be using to prepare you for extraordinary purposes?
What ordinary circumstances in your life might God be using to prepare you for extraordinary purposes?
Quote:
Little did Moses realize that while he was doing an ordinary job, that God was using the ordinary job to prepare him for an extraordinary task. - Dr. Greg Batchelor

Prayer:
Lord, help me see my current circumstances through Your eyes. Use every ordinary moment to prepare me for Your extraordinary plans.
