Day 5: Joy Comes in the Morning

Bible Verse
'Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.' - Psalm 30:5
Life in this fallen world is hard - there's no getting around that reality. We face thorns and thistles, disappointments and heartbreak, loss and grief. But as believers, we have a hope that transcends our current circumstances. Our struggles are real, but they're also temporary. God has a way of turning our darkest moments into testimonies of His faithfulness. He transforms graves into gardens, bones into armies, and seas into highways. When we're in the middle of a storm, it's easy to lose sight of this truth. That's why we must intentionally fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, rather than on our circumstances. The weeping you're experiencing tonight won't last forever. Morning is coming, and with it, the joy that only God can provide. Your current chapter is not your final story.
Reflection Question:
How can you shift your focus from your current struggles to the hope and joy that God promises for your future?
Quote:
Weeping may carry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.
Prayer:
Lord, when the night feels long and dark, remind me that joy is coming. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on You and trust in Your perfect timing.
