Day 4: God Hears Ordinary People

Bible Verse
'Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.' - Matthew 11:28
Hagar wasn't a spiritual giant or a biblical hero - she was just an ordinary person facing extraordinary circumstances. Yet when she cried out to God in desperation, He heard her prayer and provided exactly what she needed. This should encourage every one of us who sometimes feels too ordinary, too broken, or too insignificant for God to notice. The truth is, God delights in caring for His children, regardless of their status or spiritual maturity. He sees your needs before you even ask, and He desires to provide good things for you. Sometimes His provision comes in ways we don't expect, but His heart toward us is always one of love and care. Your prayers matter to God, not because of who you are, but because of who He is - a loving Father who never ignores the cries of His children.
Reflection Question:
What burden are you carrying that you need to bring to God in prayer, trusting that He hears and cares about your needs?
Quote:
Hagar was just an everyday person like me and you. This was not Mother Teresa praying. This is not Billy Graham praying. This is just an everyday person like me and you praying. And God hears.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that You hear the prayers of ordinary people like me. Help me to trust in Your provision and care, even when I can't see the way forward.
