Day 1: Little Anointed Ones

Bible Verse
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" - 2 Corinthians 5:17
When people first called believers "Christians" in Antioch, it wasn't meant as a compliment. The term meant "little anointed ones" - a mocking reference to how obviously these people followed Christ. Yet what was intended as mockery became a badge of honor. These early believers lived so differently that their allegiance was unmistakable. Today, we might ask ourselves: Is our faith that obvious? When others observe our lives, do they see a clear difference between us and the world around us?

The transformation that comes from following Christ isn't about becoming a polished version of ourselves - it's about becoming an entirely new creation. Just like a caterpillar doesn't emerge from its cocoon as a better caterpillar but as a completely different creature - a butterfly - our encounter with Christ transforms us into something entirely new. This isn't about self-improvement; it's about supernatural transformation that touches every aspect of our lives. The question isn't whether we're perfect, but whether we're different. Are we living in a way that makes our allegiance to Christ unmistakable to those around us?
Reflection Question:
If someone observed your life for a week without knowing your religious background, would they be able to tell that you follow Christ?
Quote:
A caterpillar goes into a cocoon. Not to become a better caterpillar, but a caterpillar goes into a cocoon to become a butterfly. When we come to Christ, we don't come out a polished person. We come out a new creation.

Prayer:
Lord, help me live as a true follower of Christ, transformed from the inside out. May my life be a clear testimony of Your work in me.
